NASA Scientist Proves Extraterrestrial Life Exists

Professor Richard B Hoover established the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center Astrobiology Research Group in 1996 to study extremophiles and investigate microfossils in ancient rocks and carbonaceous meteorites. In an interview Hoover told Lee Spiegel of the Huffington Post :

"I am absolutely convinced that life is not restricted to the planet Earth because I have found the remains of lifeforms that are absolutely, conclusively extraterrestrial."

- Professor Richard B Hoover former NASA Astrobiologist

In 2012, using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy amongst other analytical methods, he more clearly demonstrated that the microfossils in several meteorites were indeed indigenous to the meteorite and that the fossils were similar to known trichomic cyanobacteria and other trichomic prokaryotes – such as filamentous sulphur bacteria (trichomic means ‘filamentous’). NASA has since distanced itself from the work of Hoover who is currently a visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham here in the UK and now runs the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology.

His book "The Discovery of Extraterrestrial Life: Our Cosmic Ancestry & the Origins of Life" co-authored with Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe is a collection articles and papers from the Journal of Cosmology details the finding that underpin the work of SIr Fred Hoyle and Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe that became known as Cometary Panspermia.
