Charles Hall and the Tall Whites - Millennial Hospitality

Charles Hall enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1964. In the 1970's he began writing stories about his experiences that would be published as fiction. He would later claim that these stories of mysterious encounters in the Mojave dessert in Nevada were based on his real personal experience. His Millennial Hospitality series of books, he claims, are published as fiction to protect the identity of the characters.

Validation of Contactee Experiences

The subject of the UFO contactee is a controversial yet fascinating one. The Charles Halls story epitomises the problems of such case where claims of alien contact are made. This is pure human testimony. The question of whether this contact actually occurred or not is problematic when we come from a position of requiring absolute proof. In life and in human experience - you simply cannot have absolute proof.

Exopolitics pioneer Dr Michael Salla suggests that in any human interaction we should regard human testimony as the strongest evidence and is thus the most important evidence. It stands above photographs and physical evidence which require human experience to deliver context and meaning to make sense of it. Witness testimony of encounters with extra terrestrials is evidence of human encounters with aliens. It is that simple. If we place the same criteria on Charles claims as we would do in a court of law then human experience really does stand up as evidence.

Exopolitics researcher and investigator, Paola Harris, has attempted to verify Charles Halls testimony and has spent a great deal of time with Charles. Certain aspects are verifiable but physical proof remains elusive. This is not surprising considering the circumstances and time that has elapse. Having heard his testimony first hand I can say that he comes across with absolute conviction and I have no reason to doubt his honesty regarding this experience which forms the basis of his books. That said, I should clarify that I believe his experiences were real. But exactly what was the nature of the experience? Was it extra-terrestrial contact or was it something else?

Millennial Hospitality

While stationed at Nellis Air Force Base outside Las Vegas, Nevada, Charles Hall served for extensive periods of time in the desert on the Gunnery ranges at Indian Springs, Nevada. In his first book "Millennial Hospitality" Charles details his arrival at the Nevada base in 1965 and his first exposure to 'tall tails' about a ghostly entity known amongst his military colleagues as "Range Four Harry". Said by some to be a wraith-like pale white horse burned by radiation from atomic tests, and by others to be a ghosty apparitions, a lone propestor and even albino coyotes.

Charles himself began to have experiences while, fulfilling his role as an Air Force weather observer many miles out in desert all alone. Over the series of books Charles describes his personal interactions with alien beings that he refers to as the 'Tall Whites'. These encounters apparently taking place from 1965-7 at Nellis AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada while he was in his early twenties.

Charles service later took him to Viet Nam for a year where he performed award winning service. A year after receiving an honorable discharge, Charles married and went on to college where he earned both a Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Physics and a Masters degree in Applied Nuclear Physics at San Diego State University. Charles also did Ph.D. level post graduate work at the University of Maine and later earned an MBA.

The Tall Whites

According to Charles Hall, the Tall White aliens are thin and frail, with skin as white as paper. They had less hair than humans, but their hearing and vision surpassed ours. They could live up to 800 years old and as they got older, they grew taller, up to 8 or 9 ft. The sound of their language apparently resembles a dog barking or bird calls, but they were capable of learning to speak English. Charles also described seeing children of the beings and reported that one Tall White mother even asked him if he liked the dress she was wearing.

Hall said the Tall Whites had an accord with the Air Force and shared technology with them. Earth was a kind of "way station" or airport for them, and they constructed their smaller scout crafts here. Most curiously, he noted the extraterrestrials were allowed to go off base on occasion. Disguised as humans, they particularly liked visiting Las Vegas, where he said they would gamble at casinos such as the Stardust and tell people they were from "Northern Spain."

A Psychological Operation?

On a few rare occasions Charles reports seeing people in Military uniforms out in the desert watching him while he had contact with the entities. This has led some to speculate that, while Charles Halls testimony could be accurate there is still the possibility that the military were using him as a guinea pig.

But for what purpose? Making him believe he experienced extraterrestrial contact? Or understanding how human beings react to contact with aliens?
